Al & Pauline's son Joe turned 50 in August and his wife Christy threw a party in his honor. Joe & Christy live near Lake Norman in the Charlotte area of North Carolina. The photos show Joe with their dogs Sandy and Max playing in the lake, and Joe at various stages of celebrating his birthday. Christy is in the last picture on the right with one of their neighbors.

In early June, Tom and Claire stopped in Denver, on their way to California, to visit Al, Pauline and daughter MR. While there they visited the "Garden of the Gods", an impressive rock formation, and then traveled to Pike's Peak. At the summit they encountered 7 feet of snow on the ground and several snow squalls while they were at the summit.

Karin and Rob's son Ryan is practicing his Italian cooking skills so can help the Fetter's at the next reunion.
